Don’t be afraid of not having it altogether and admitting you need to start somewhere closer to the beginning

In the last 15 years I have been a beginner in a lot of things and quite frankly it has me tripping up on myself.. a lot!  I am now edging closer to 50 and thought life would be different, more together in some areas.

In some areas, I am learning to give myself permission to be a continual beginner and in other areas, I am giving myself the grace to be a complete newbie beginner and all that goes with it.

  • I am a continual beginner wife as our relationship grows and I keep choosing to grow with it.

  • I am a continual beginner mom as kiddo grows up

  • I am a continual beginner entrepreneur as technology is changing faster than my brain cells are renewing some days

  • I am a beginner fitness pursuer it is NOT a natural love

The great thing about 2021 is that there are so many people changing gears and starting at the beginning in so many areas. I see all the posturing of new entrepreneurs wanting to look farther along than they are or have bigger followings and clients. In my journey, it has been a beautiful thing to grow at the pace that was meant for me, and many times that meant being honest about where I was at so that I could get the help I needed with minimal floundering.

Where do you need to be ok with the fact that you are a beginner so you can grow well without skipping critical stages?

Being a beginner at learning how to decrease clutter and effectively live that new lifestyle so you are dealing with it again 3-6 months down the line is real. Chances you did not learn the skills in your life otherwise you would not be a beginner now. It is a journey - with a beginning point - be OK with that and soon you will be well past it and successfully moving forward.

A great beginner resource is the Clutter Hunt  and here you can try it for free.
